Quiénes somos:
Radio Jën Poj surge en agosto de 2001 en el seno de la comunidad mixe -ayuujk en lengua original- Tlahuitoltepec, Oaxaca, cuando jóvenes estudiantes, profesionistas y comuneros mixes se reúnen para establecer una radioemisora. Ahora es un espacio radiofónico donde el pensamiento colectivo se transforma en vientos de palabra que mucho tiempo se ha guardado y restringido y que hoy puede ser escuchada por hombres y mujeres de la región.
Queremos contribuir al desarrollo de la comunidad a través de espacios y medios de comunicación que conlleven a la participación de sus habitantes, respondiendo a sus necesidades y expectativas, desde una perspectiva lingüística cultural y sin ánimos de lucro.
Radio Jen Poj was born in August 2001 in the heart of the Mixe community- Ayuujk in our language- Tlahuitoltepec, Oaxaca, when Mixe studentes, professionals, and community members came together to build a radiotransmitor. Now it is a space where colective thought is transformed into winds of words that for a long time had been held back and restricted and today can be heard by men and women throughout the region.
We want to contribute to the development of the community through communication spaces and media that lead to the participation of its inhabitants and responds to their needs and expectations in a non-profit relationship and with a cultural linguistic perspective.
